Subject: - With regard to transfer of teachers by conducting proper investigation under Surrender Transfer Policy.
Respected Sir,
In continuation of previous request/letter no. GSTA- 393.98 dt. 25/04/2022, The GSTA wants to draw your attention towards the transfer of teachers requested by DOE this year. Under the current policy The HOS is also granted power to surrender two teachers for transfer from his school.
Regarding the above, The GSTA demands that the list of transfer requests received by DOE be scrutinized and proper investigation be conducted for both sides, i.e. the teacher and the HOS for each case. If the investigation concludes that the transfer of the teacher/HOS is beneficial for the sake of school, then The GSTA welcomes such transfer requests. One-sided transfer without any reason or proof of misconduct and lapse to the duties and without giving any opportunity to defend himself/herself is against the natural justice and is very demoralizing for the teaching staff.
GSTA has complete faith in you to find a just solution to resolve the rising tension between HOS and teaching staff caused due to Surrender Transfer Policy.
