STREAM WISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST OF NON RPVV STUDENTS (FROM DELHI GOVERNMENT / GOVERNMENT-AIDED / NDMC / CANTONMENT BOARD SCHOOLS SITUATED IN DELHI) SEEKING ADMISSION IN RPVVs TO CLASS-XI FOR SESSION 2017-18.

• Students who have passed Class IX in the year 2016 and Class X in the year 2017 from Delhi Government / Government Aided / NDMC / Delhi Cantonment Board Schools situated in Delhi are eligible for  registration for Entrance / Screening Test for seeking admission to Class XI in RPVVs.
• Registration will be opened in any RPVV for external candidates only if there are seats available after admitting all the eligible students of their own RPVV strictly as per the Merit / criteria fixed by the Directorate of Education.
• There will be a common Merit / Draw for Hindi / English medium sections and no request for change of medium of instruction will be entertained at any state.

Grades wherever they will be required for deciding the Registration/Final Admission, they will be considered without (*).

STREAM - WISE ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION

ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN SCIENCE STREAM

Minimum Grades {without (*) asterisk Mark}, required for registration for entrance test.

• Maths                                      B1 (without (*) asterisk)
• Science                                    B1  (without (*) asterisk)
• English                                     B2  (without (*) asterisk)
• Remaining Two subjects          C2  (without (*) asterisk)(other than additional subject)

The following Criteria will be observed for selection and admission :- 

Selection of candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPVVs will be done on the basis of merit in the entrance test where he/she was registered.

If more than on student is eligible for admission in science stream for the last vacant seat then the Selection will be made as per the below mention criteria.

• Eligible Students with higher grades in Mathematics, Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of merit. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics, Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.

• In case of tie in spite of the above exercise, draw will be arranged.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN COMMERCE STREAM

Minimum Grades without (*) Mark, required for registration for entrance test.

• Maths                                       B2(without (*) asterisk)
• Social Science                          B2 (without (*) asterisk)
• English                                     C1  (without (*) asterisk)
• Other Two subjects                  C2  (without (*) asterisk)

(other than additional subject)

The following Criteria will be observed for selection and admission :- 

Selection of candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPVVs will be done on the basis of merit in the entrance test where he/she was registered.

If more than on student is eligible for admission in Commerce stream for the last vacant seat then the Selection will be made as per the below mention criteria.

• Eligible Students with higher grades in Mathematics, Social Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of merit thus formed. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics, Social Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.

• In case of tie in spite of the above exercise, draw will be arranged.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN HUMANITIES STREAM

Minimum Grades (without (*) Mark), required for registration for entrance test.

• C 1 Grade (without (*) Mark) in each of the five subjects (Excluding additional subject)

In addition to the above elegiblity criteria, Economics and Mathematics subjects in Arts Stream will be offered on the following conditions

• Economics subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least 6 CGPA in his/her Class -X Exam.
• Mathematics subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least C-1 Grade (without (*) Mark) in Mathematics in his/her Class-X Exam.

The following Criteria will be observed for selection and admission :- 

Selection of candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPVVs will be done on the basis of merit in the entrance test where he/she was registered.

If more than on student is eligible for admission in Arts stream for the last vacant seat then the Selection will be made as per the below mention criteria.

• Eligible Students with higher grades in all five subjects (Excluding additional subject) will get higher ranking in the Merit and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit. For Example, student with A1 grade each in all the five subjects (Excluding additional subject) will get highest ranking in the Merit. ( Grades should be without (*) asterisk Mark).

• In case of tie draw will be arranged.

ENTRANCE/SCREENING TEST:

All registered candidates will have to appear in an Entrance/Screening test that will be held on the same date/time for all the RPVVs and the selection will be done on the merit of the Entrance/Screening Test of respective RPVVs, where the applicant was registered and appeared in Entrance/Screening Test.

Entrance test will consist of objective type questions to test numerical ability, mental ability, general knowledge and language comprehension.

In addition to above there will be descriptive test for Hindi & English language. (English for all the three streams (i.e. Science / Commerce / Arts) whereas Hindi for Arts Stream in addition to English Language). 

REGISTRATION FEE FOR ENTRANCE / SCREENING TEST

An amount of Rs. 25/- (Rs. Twenty Five only) (In cash Non-Refundable) against the registration fee for Entrance/Screening Test will be deposited by the applicant at the time of submission of Registration Form.

SCHEDULE FOR REGISTRATION / ENTRANCE /SCREENING TEST / ADMISSION PROCESS FOR CLASS - XI IN RPVV's FOR THE SESSIOON 2017-18 IS AS UNDER :-

• SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION FORMS WITH NECESSARY DOCUMENTS & Processing Fees

07.06.2017 (Wednesday) to 14.06.2017(Wednesday)
on all working day between 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM and upto 1.00 PM on the last day i.e. 14.06.2017 (Wednesday)

• DATE/TIME AND DURATION OF ENTRANCE TEST FOR SCIENCE AND COMMERCE STREAM :

19.06.2017(Monday) (10.00 AM to 12.15 PM)

( Two hours and Fifteen Minutes)

• DATE/TIME AND DURATION OF ENTRANCE TEST FOR ARTS STREAM :

19.06.2017 (Monday) (10.00 AM to 12.30 PM)

( Two hours and thirty Minutes)

• DECLARATION OF RESULT:

              24.06.2017 (Saturday) AT 02.00 PM

• DATE AND TIME OF DRAW, IF, REQUIRED

             26.06.2017 (Monday) AT 09.00 AM

• ADMISSION PROCESS

           26.06.2017 (Monday) to 30.06.2017 (Friday)

           between 9.00 AM to 12.00 NOON.

In case any "last day" is declared a public holiday, the next
working day will be treated as the "last day"]

ADMIT CARD SHALL BE ISSUED TO THE APPLICANT BY THE CONCERNED HEAD OF RPVV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION FORM.
