STREAM WISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST OF NON RPVV STUDENTS (FROM DELHI GOVERNMENT/GOVERNMENT-AIDED/NDMC/CANTONMENT BOARD SCHOOLS SITUATED IN DELHI) SEEKING ADMISSION IN RPVVs IN CLASS XI FOR SESSION 2016-17.
Students who have passed Class IX in the year 2015 and Class X in the year 2016 from Delhi Government/Government Aided/NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board Schools situated in Delhi are eligible for registration for Entrance Test for seeking admission in Class XI in RPVVs for session 2016-17.
Grades wherever they will be required for deciding the Registration/Final Admission, they will be considered without (*).
STREAM-WISE ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION
Registration will be opened in any RPVV for external candidates only if there are seats available after admitting all the eligible candidates for their own RPVV strictly as per the Merit/criteria fixed by the Directorate of Education.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN SCIENCE STREAM
- Maths B1 without (*)
- Science B1 without (*)
- English B2 without (*)
- Remaining Two subjects C2 without (*)
After the Result of the Entrance Tests, the admission will be decided on the basis of the following merit criteria in Science Stream :
The selection of candidate for admission in Class-XI in RPVVs will be done on the merit of candidate in the entrance test where he/she was registered.
If more than on student is eligible for admission in science stream for the last vacant seat then the admission will be made for the last vacant seat as per following merit criteria.
Eligible Students with higher grades in Mathematics, Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of merit thus formed. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics, Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.
In case there happens to be a situation of tie in spite of the above exercise, in that situation draw will be arranged.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN COMMERCE STREAM
Minimum Grades without (*) Mark, required for registration for entrance test.
- Maths B1 without (*)
- Social Science B1 without (*)
- English C1 without (*)
- Other Two subjects C2 without (*)
After the Result of the Entrance Tests, the admission will be decided on the basis of the following merit criteria in Commerce Stream :
The selection of candidate for admission in Class-XI in RPVVs will be done on the merit of candidate in the entrance test where he/she was registered.
If more than on student is eligible for admission in science stream for the last vacant seat then the admission will be made for the last vacant seat as per following merit criteria.
Eligible Students with higher grades in Mathematics, Social Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered striclty on the basis of merit thus formed. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics, Social Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.
In case there happens to be a situation of tie inspite of the above exercise, in that situation draw will be arranged.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN HUMANITIES STREAM
- C 1 Grade without (*) in each of the five subjects excluding additional subject.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN VOCATIONAL STREAM (Information Technology Application )
Minimum Grades without (*) Mark, required for registration for entrance test.
- C 1 Grade without (*) in each of the five subjects excluding additional subject.
In addition to the above eligibility criteria, the Economic and Mathematics subjects in Humanities/Vocational Stream will be offered on the following conditions :-
- Economics subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least 6 CGPA in his/her Class X Exam.
- Mathematics Subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least C1 Grade without (*) in Mathematics in his/her Class-X Exam.
After the Result of the Entrance Tests, the admission will be decided on the basis of the following merit criteria in Humanities Or Vocational Stream :
The selection of candidate for admission in Class-XI in RPVVs will be done on the merit of candidate in the entrance test where he/she was registered.
If more than on student is eligible for admission in science stream for the last vacant seat then the admission will be made for the last vacant seat as per following merit criteria.
Eligible Students with higher grades in all five subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered striclty on the basis of merit thus formed. For example, a student with A1 grade all five subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get highest ranking in the Merit List.
In case there happens to be a situation of tie in spite of the above exercise, in that situation draw will be arranged.
ENTRANCE/SCREENING TEST:
All registered candidates will have to appear in an Entrance/Screening test that will be
held on the same date/time for all the RPVVs and the selection will be done on the merit
in the Entrance/Screening Test of respective RPVVs, where the applicant was registered
and appeared in Entrance/Screening Test.
Entrance test will consist of objective type questions to test numerical ability, mental
ability, general knowledge and language comprehension.
In addition to above there will be descriptive test for Hindi & English
language. (English for all the three streams (i.e. Science / Commerce /
Arts) whereas Hindi for Arts Stream in addition to English Language).
PROCESSING FEE FOR ENTRANCE/SCREENING TEST
An amount of Rs. 25/- (Rs. Twenty Five only) In cash Non-Refundable against the processing fee for Entrance/Screening Test will be deposited by the applicant at the time of submission of Registration Form.

between 9.00 AM to 12.00 NOON.
