SWACHH BHARAT KOSH - SET UP BY MINISTRY OF FINANCE

                           

Finance Ministry has set up SWACHH BHARAT KOSH  to attract Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from Corporate Sector and Contributions from individuals and philanthropists in response to the call given by Hon'ble Prime Minister on 15th August, 2014 to achieve the objectives of Clean India (Swachh Bharat) by the Year 2019, the 150th year of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through SWACHH BHARAT MISSION.

                                A nation-wide effort has been started on Gandhi Jayanti 2nd October, 2014 to mobilize resources for improving sanitation facilities in the rural and urban areas, particularly, school premises.
