    do we get TA for election day also i.e 10th april or only for election training meetings...I m PGT at grade pay 4800. I m appointed at the post of APRO..(polling officer)..please clarify my entitlement of TA for election...auto or taxi

      Yes, You are entitled for TA on Election Day as well as on 9 April, 2014 to Check your Polling Station Location.

      Teachers whose GP above Rs. 4200/- are entitled for Taxi Fair.

      Voting Day ka bhi aur Ek din Pehle Centre Dekhne ka bhi TA Milega.

    can we get TA for election day also i.e 10th april or only for election training meetings...I m PGT at grade pay 5400and was appointed as Presidnign officer .please clarify my entitlement of TA for election...auto or taxi and if possible from where can i print the orders to dhow my DDO. KINDLY HLEP......

      You will get TA for 3 training, one day for checking Centre i.e on 9/4/2014 and on Poll Day i.e 10/04/2014. For All order you can visit the below link and download the same and get Print.

    1.Is there any order specifying that if the distance between the training venue and residence is less than 5kms no election duty TA will be paid.

    2. Is signature of sector officer and presiding sufficient for claiming election duty TA

    Does Polling staff has to actually travel in Taxi/Auto for making claim of TA

      No, they can also travel by their own car to claim Taxi fare.
