NEW ADMISSION SCHEDULE IN ENTRY LEVEL CLASS (NURSERY) RECOGNIZED UNAIDED SCHOOLS OF DELHI

CIRCULAR

Sub:-  Admission Schedule for entry level classes in recognized un-aided schools of Delhi for the session 2014-15

In continuation of this Directorate Circulars No. DE.15/Act-1/2013/20477-90 dated 15-01-2014, in matter of LPA No. 30/2014 titled Action Committee Unaided Recognized Private Schools V/s Hon’ble Lt. Governor & Ors. And LPA No. 31/2014, Forum for Promotion of Quality Education for all V/s Hob’ble Lt. Governor & Ors., Hon’ble High Court of Delhi vide its Judgment dated 20-01-2014 has dismissed the above said appeals and directed the GNCTD to now forthwith notify the new date for commencement of admission process.

Accordingly, as per the direction of the Hon’ble High Court dated 20-01-2014 in the cases mentioned above, the revised admission schedule for the academic session 2014-15 is as under :-

ADMISSION SCHEDULE

1.	Commencement of admission process	21-01-2014 (Tuesday)
2.	Commencement of availability of admission application	21-01-2014 (Tuesday)
3.	Last Date of Submission of admission application in schools	05-02-2014 (Wednesday)
4.	The date for displaying the first list of selected children including EWS & Disadvantaged group category (including waitining list)	28-02-2014 (Friday)
5.	The date for displaying the second list (if any)	15-03-2014 (Saturday)
6.	The date of displaying subsequent list(s) (if any)	17-03-2014  (Monday) to 31-03-2014  (Monday)
7.	Closure of admission process	31-03-2014 (Monday)

Rest of contents of Circular dated 18-12-2013 shall remain unchanged.

Further the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi has granted interim stay in W.P. © No. 209/2014 titled The Society of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Delhi V/s Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. And in W.P. (C) No. 208/2014 titled The Forum of Minority Schools V/s Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. In r/o provisions of clause 14 (b) (iv) & (v) of the order dated 18-12-2013 to private unaided recognized minority schools of Delhi till next date of hearing. Therefore, rest of the provisions of the said order shall be applicable to all the recognized unaided minority schools in the aforesaid petitions, till further orders. The Hon’ble High Court further directed the Petitioners to forward the admission procedure being followed by each member of their society/forum to the respondents with in a period of one week. Therefore, the concerned schools shall adhere to aforesaid directions of Hon’ble High Court.

This issues with the prior approval of competent Authority.
