DOPT ISSUED CLARIFICATION ABOUT CEA AND HOSTEL SUBSIDY

.Department of Personnel and Training issued clarification on 31/05/2012 about the Children Education Allowance and Hostel Subsidy.

1. Now CGE are eligible for the reimbursement of children Education Allowance/Hostel Subsidy whose children get Admission in IIT/Diploma/Engg. Course after passing 10 class in condition that they has not been granted the same in respect of child in 11th and 12th Standard.
2. Hostel Subsidy will be granted to CGE whose Residential School/Hostel situated beyond 50 Km. and it is further clarified that the Hostel Subsidy is not in related to the transfer liability of a Govt. Employee.
