Clarification on revision of order of merit list in respect of Lecturer (English/Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu/Sanskrit) issued on 23/08/2014 for the Engagement of Guest Teachers 2014-15.

The Directorate of education issued a Public Notice for the Extension of date for Verification of documents by Guest Teachers Applicants for Engagement of Guest Teachers 2014-15. The Text matter of which is as follow :-

PUBLIC CIRCULAR

Sub : Clarification on revision of order of merit list in respect of Lecturer (English/Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu/Sanskrit) issued on 23/08/2014 for the Engagement of Guest Teachers 2014-15.

1. After display of merit list Guest Teachers (PGT) of  few subjects represented in writing/through email/in person stating that the marks at Post Graduate Degree level for the relevant subject(s) have not been properly accounted in the calculation of order of merit for the above said post(s) and requested for a relook in to the matter.
2. The requests of the Guest Teachers applicants was promptly attended and revised (Final) order of merit list was issued on 23/08/2014 in respect of above said posts only after fixing the technical snag in the Computer Programming. Inconvenience caused to the applicants is regretted.
3. It is further informed that release of the order merit list in respect of PGT (Engineering Drawing) was deffered on administration Ground as vacancy position vis-a-vis teaching of subject in schools is being confirmed. Guest Teacher applicants for the said post are advised to refer to the web portal of the Directorate of Education (edudel.nic.in) for necessary updates which will be issued shortly.
4. This issues with the approval of competent authority.
